Nurse Practitioner - Infusion Suite
Location: Salisbury, Maryland
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient Infusion
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive patient care and clinical oversight in an outpatient infusion setting. The NP will administer and supervise infusion treatments, monitor patients, manage infusion reactions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care and perform assessments.
Administer and monitor IV infusions.
Manage infusion reactions and emergencies.
Educate patients and coordinate care.
Perform peripheral IV placement and port access.
Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
Support clinical standards, quality improvement, and team development.
Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active Maryland NP license required; Delaware preferred.
Current AHA BLS and national APP board certification.
4+ years relevant clinical experience.
2+ years as an NP/RN in acute care (ICU, ED, PACU, Oncology, Critical Care, Infusion, or Home Infusion).
Infusion experience required.
Strong patient assessment, emergency response, and infusion reaction management skills.
Must meet payer credentialing, regulatory, and malpractice requirements.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Knowledge of billing, CPT coding, and regulatory requirements.
