A well-established transportation services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Reconciliation Coordinator to join their operations team in Columbus, OH. This role is beginning on a contract basis with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

This individual will play a key role in supporting daily transportation operations by reconciling trip activity, collecting and balancing fares, processing driver information, and ensuring accurate reporting. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and interacting with employees throughout the day. This position will sit onsite and operation 11AM to 7PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Review daily trip activity and verify route information within transportation management software
  • Reconcile fares, tickets, and payments received from approximately 120 drivers operating throughout the day
  • Confirm that correct fares and collections are associated with completed routes and trips
  • Process driver clock-out information and enter timekeeping data into company systems
  • Run, review, and maintain daily operational and financial reports
  • Prepare and document daily deposits, secure collected funds, and coordinate armored pickup services
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve payment, route, or reporting issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in reconciliation, cash handling, accounting support, dispatch, transportation administration, or related operational roles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in financial or operational data
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and multiple software systems
  • Ability to handle cash, deposits, and confidential information accurately
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with drivers and operational staff
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
