Multiple contract positions are available supporting elementary and intermediate students across engaging school communities near Crown Point, IN. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) strongly preferred
- At least 1 year of SLP experience in educational or pediatric settings
- Experience supporting a diverse, school-aged caseload (pre-K through middle school)
- Comfortable collaborating with special education staff, general educators, and support professionals
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- SLPA candidates will not be considered at this time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language therapy to caseloads of approximately 70–100 students, depending on placement
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address a broad spectrum of speech, language, and communication needs
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams and parents to track student progress and recommend support strategies
- Supervise and coordinate with SLP Assistants (support and licensure dependent)
- Maintain thorough records, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings and professional development
