School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Crown Point, Indiana

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) strongly preferred
• At least 1 year of SLP experience in educational or pediatric settings
• Experience supporting a diverse, school-aged caseload (pre-K through middle school)
• Comfortable collaborating with special education staff, general educators, and support professionals
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• SLPA candidates will not be considered at this time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language therapy to caseloads of approximately 70–100 students, depending on placement
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address a broad spectrum of speech, language, and communication needs
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams and parents to track student progress and recommend support strategies
• Supervise and coordinate with SLP Assistants (support and licensure dependent)
• Maintain thorough records, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings and professional development
