Job Description
Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational setting near Katy, TX. Two bilingual (English/Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) are needed to serve primarily elementary-aged learners in a collaborative school environment. This is an on-site only position, ensuring you’ll be part of the campus community and directly involved in every aspect of student growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist state license (CCC required)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Extensive experience in school-based roles; prior self-contained classroom exposure beneficial
- Ability to work full-time (35 hours/week, across 4-5 days)
- Strong collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and adaptability
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, IEP development, direct intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Support and implement strategies for both general and self-contained elementary student populations
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Use bilingual skills to effectively communicate and partner with families and staff
- Foster positive student outcomes and advocate for best practices in speech and language support
