Plant Manager

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the book manufacturing / book production industry required.

• Production Management: Experience supervising and managing 5+ employees in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Machinery Knowledge: Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting book manufacturing equipment, including:

  • Perfect binders

  • Saddle stitchers

  • Digital finishing lines

  • Three-knife trimmers

• Operational Knowledge: Ability to learn and understand plant machinery, perform regular machine operation, answer basic equipment questions, and assist with troubleshooting more complex issues.

• Team Leadership: Responsible for keeping production employees on task, maintaining productivity, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Computer Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for basic production-related tasks and reporting.

• Shift Availability: Able to work second shift, with an expected start time between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

• Schedule: Plant operates 24 hours/day, Monday through Friday.

• Relocation: Must be willing to relocate within reasonable driving distance of the facility, if necessary.

• Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site position.

• Compensation: Starting around $60,000+ annually, with final compensation negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
