My name is Robert Davis with Chipton Ross. I have the following Contract to Direct Hire position available in Orlando, FL.
Hardware Engineer
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Experience in developing flight simulation hardware solutions on programs. Active development of new mechanical design engineering principles and full demonstrated knowledge of industry practices and related disciplines. Issuing formal design checking approvals or non-conformance reports through the PLM tool. Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articles.
Demonstrated ability to support cross-functional teams through major technical reviews throughout the acquisition lifecycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR). Experience applying Hardware Engineering processes in an Agile environment. Experience with Windchill, Creo, Windchill and/or Catia, Zuken and Cameo. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and demonstrated perform complex system-level tolerance analysis.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
WORK HOURS:
4/10-1st Shift/Full-Time.
