Kelly® is hiring Electronics Assembly Technicians for an exciting DIRECT-HIRE opportunity with a well-established telecommunications technology company opening a brand-new manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Currently living in the Los Angeles area? Even better.
Selected candidates will complete approximately 6-8 weeks of paid, hands-on training in Los Angeles before transitioning to the new Salt Lake City operation. Candidates relocating to Utah for this opportunity will receive $3,000 in relocation assistance.

Permanent Work Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Relocation Assistance: $3,000
Schedule After Relocation: Monday-Friday, 1st shift 6:30am-2:45pm
Work Environment: Fully onsite in a clean, organized, air-conditioned facility
- $18.75/hour with a high school diploma or GED
- $20.75/hour with a bachelor's degree

You'll help assemble, test, and inspect advanced radio communication technology designed to remain operational when traditional communication infrastructure is unavailable.
These products primarily support military applications, along with other industries that depend on secure and reliable communication systems.

Start With Paid Training in Los AngelesBefore relocating to Salt Lake City, you'll receive approximately 6-8 weeks of hands-on training with the established Los Angeles team.
Training will include:
- Hands-on electronics assembly instruction
- Product and system testing
- Quality-control procedures
- Soldering fundamentals
- Use of precision hand tools
- Computer-based production documentation
- Learning directly from experienced production and quality team members
Once training is complete, you'll transition to the brand-new Salt Lake City facility and become part of the core team helping launch the operation.
What You'll Be Doing- Assemble and test sensitive electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards
- Complete final assembly of advanced radio communication products
- Perform system testing and production quality-control testing
- Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
- Use tweezers, screwdrivers, bolt drivers, torque wrenches, and other precision hand tools
- Follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, testing procedures, and quality requirements
- Perform basic soldering and work with small electronic components
- Enter assembly, testing, and production information into computer systems
- Use programs such as Oracle, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Prepare daily reports and communicate production or testing results
- Identify product or process concerns and escalate issues when appropriate
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Participate in continuous-improvement efforts involving quality, efficiency, and workflow

- Are comfortable using basic hand tools
- Have strong attention to detail
- Can complete detailed computer-based documentation
- Communicate effectively and enjoy working with a team
- Can lift up to 25 pounds
- Are willing to relocate to Salt Lake City, Utah
Experience with any of the following is helpful:
- Electronics assembly
- Electronics repair
- Manufacturing
- Quality inspection
- Printed circuit boards
- Wiring or cable assembly
- Soldering or desoldering
- Building or repairing computers
- Technical hobbies or DIY electronics
- Precision hand tools
- Linux-based systems
- Oracle, Excel, or Google Workspace
Candidates may complete a brief soldering assessment during the interview process. Perfection isn't expected. The team is looking for basic fundamentals, attention to detail, and your ability to explain your process.
