Fabrication Design Coordinator
The Fabrication Design Coordinator serves as the key link between Fabrication, Production, Customer Service, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and custom prosthetic/orthotic products.
This position helps streamline processes, manage orders, resolve delays, and maintain quality standards throughout production.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Fabrication, Production, Customer Service, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Track orders and materials to ensure timely delivery
- Help identify and resolve production or order delays
- Maintain accurate information throughout the production process
- Support communication between departments
- Help maintain quality standards for custom prosthetic and orthotic products
- Monitor and follow up on orders and materials
- Utilize computer systems and order-tracking tools
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Participate in process improvements and required training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software programs
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Inventory management or order-tracking experience preferred
- Manufacturing or production experience is a plus
- Prosthetic or orthotic industry experience is preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable learning company-specific systems and processes
