Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a physical therapist across multiple school locations. This engaging position blends both onsite and virtual components, consisting of direct, in-person service delivery, as well as VOCO (virtual) supervision and paperwork responsibilities. With a schedule designed for versatility and lasting impact, you’ll collaborate across school sites and be instrumental in helping students achieve their full potential through expert physical therapy care.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Current, active South Carolina Physical Therapy license required
  • Prior experience in school-based PT or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Knowledgeable in adapting motor and therapeutic interventions for a diverse K-12 student population
  • Capable of providing direct services as well as supervision to licensed PTAs for VOCO service delivery
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and comfort balancing onsite and virtual responsibilities
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professionalism within school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services onsite to students across several school locations, supporting educational access and student independence
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized plans, and monitor student progress
  • Supervise and support a PTA for virtual (VOCO) services, ensuring compliance and quality of care
  • Complete and maintain timely paperwork and documentation for in-person and virtual service components
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Participate in meetings, IEP teams, and staffings as needed

This contract offers a schedule of 37.5 onsite hours per week, with an additional 20 hours allocated to VOCO supervision and paperwork. The assignment runs through the end of the school year in late May 2027.
