CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Peterborough, NH

Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated care and support to high school students with behavioral needs. This contract role offers meaningful work in an educational environment where your skills in assisting students with personal care make a significant difference.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00am to 3:30pm
• 35 hours per week (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• August 2026 through June 2027

Qualifications:

• Valid and current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or LNA license
• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or behavioral health setting
• Compassionate demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist with feeding, toileting, and personal adjustments
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting student independence and dignity
• Team-oriented attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and supervision to high school students requiring behavioral and personal care support
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and necessary adjustments throughout the school day
• Foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all students
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with educational and healthcare staff
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, maintaining a secure environment
• Document care provided and any changes in student condition as required
