Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II

Location: Santa Monica, CA 90404

Pay Rate: $30/hr. to $33/hr. on W2

Job Summary:

• Seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to support viral vector manufacturing in a cGMP facility.
• The technician will execute manufacturing processes, maintain compliance with SOPs and batch records, and collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT, Quality, and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute GMP manufacturing processes and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform raw material weighing, inventory transactions, and equipment operations.
• Perform chromatography and ultrafiltration/diafiltration processes using aseptic techniques.
• Prepare single-use systems, buffers, and support filter integrity testing.
• Assist with viral vector fill operations and troubleshooting.
• Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Support SOP/MPR revisions and continuous improvement activities.
• Follow all safety, cGMP, and cleanroom requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field, OR AA + 2 years, OR High School diploma + 3 years of relevant biotech/pharma experience.
• cGMP and biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, Microsoft Word/Excel, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work shifts/weekends, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
