Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
- Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued, though not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations with varied speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable goals in collaboration with educators and parents
- Provide direct intervention and therapy services individually or in small groups
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in regular team meetings
- Support teachers and staff through consultation and strategies to help students' communication success in the classroom
- Participate actively in professional development opportunities
