School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Vero Beach, Florida

This on-site contract opportunity spans a diverse PreK-12th grade caseload, allowing you to make a meaningful difference as you serve multiple campuses throughout the school year.

You’ll work 35 hours each week, traveling between 3 to 5 assigned schools. Collaborate with educators and allied professionals to provide essential therapy services, helping students achieve their fullest potential in their educational settings.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Florida Department of Health OTA license in good standing
• Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
• Ability to work across multiple school sites efficiently
• Commitment to providing compassionate support to students from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must meet district credentialing requirements (district fingerprinting required; prior AHCA Clearinghouse prints can be accepted)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services and implement treatment plans for PreK-12th grade students
• Support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate on goal-setting with OT supervisors and school staff
• Accurately document progress and communicate outcomes to families, educators, and team members
• Adapt and modify interventions across varying school environments as needed
• Participate in team meetings and provide consultative support
