Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced school-based Occupational Therapists in the Saint Paul, MN area. We are seeking dedicated professionals to support students with special education needs in a variety of settings for the upcoming school year. Multiple positions are available, with assignments ranging from leave coverage to a full-year role.

Available Openings:

  • Leave of Absence, North Education Center: August 31st to approximately November 13th. This role is 32 hours/week (.8 FTE) over 4 days, working with students who receive Setting IV special education services.
  • Leave of Absence, South Education Center: September 21st to January 4th, 40 hours/week over 5 days. No work during winter break. Focused on Setting IV special education support.
  • Full-year, Split Locations: 20 hours/week, supporting special education students across a district in the south metro and at Ann Bremmer Education Center. Student settings vary; Ann Bremmer placements are all Setting IV.
  • Full-time, Pending Final Confirmation: Full-time hours expected; awaiting district details.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must have school-based Occupational Therapy experience
  • Successful completion of agency onboarding and district background check required
  • Consistent, reliable transportation is a must
  • Ability to work the designated school schedule and the length of assignment
  • Good standing from prior placements if previously credentialed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy to students with diverse special education needs
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to create effective interventions
  • Provide assessment, treatment planning, and documentation in line with district standards
  • Adapt therapy approaches according to individual student requirements
