Multiple contract positions are available for the upcoming academic year, each offering meaningful engagement with learners at different grade levels—from energetic kindergartners to motivated high school students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possession of RI TA Certification or active CNA credential with prior schools-based experience
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents in diverse educational settings
  • Team-oriented mindset, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to different grade levels and classroom environments as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead teachers with classroom activities, individualized student support, and instructional tasks
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel encouraged and supported
  • Help implement learning plans, monitor student progress, and provide feedback under supervision
  • Support students with daily routines, social development, and classroom integration
  • Maintain respectful, confidential, and professional interactions with students and staff

Scheduling Overview:

  • High School: 8:00 AM – 2:15 PM (M-F)
  • Middle School: 7:05 AM – 2:00 PM (M-F)
  • Elementary: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 9:15 AM – 3:30 PM (M-F)
  • Kindergarten: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (M-F)
  • Contract duration: August 31, 2026 – June 10, 2027, 32 hours per week
