Description
- Mix necessary formulas to cover packaging schedule.
- Ensure proper items and amounts are added to each batch.
- Plan mixing operations to meet product schedule in the most efficient manner, including pre-staging future mixes.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork.
- Maintain communication between Line Leaders, Set-Up Technicians, Mill Operators, Shift Supervisors, Production Scheduler, Maintenance, and Quality Control.
- Accurate recording of inventory transactions.
- Maintain ingredient bin inventories.
- Perform equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
- This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to operate forklift and handcart in a safe manner.
- Ability to work independently and as a team in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Capable of using SAP (will train)
- Competence with general computer skills
- Competent using Outlook email
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to distinguish colors and the smell of different oils.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and up to 100 lbs (with assistance); frequent bending, lifting and twisting
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment
- Warehouse temperatures can vary due to outside temperatures.
- Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours (on each respective shift) and average at least 40 hours a week.
