Discover a fulfilling contract opportunity providing vital speech-language pathology services in a collaborative, school-based setting near Newport, NH. Two distinct roles are available—one full-time and one part-time—serving students in a supportive on-site environment. You’ll play a crucial part in students’ educational journeys while working with a dedicated team of educators and specialists.
Ideal Experience & Credentials:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of New Hampshire
- SLP-CCC certification, or eligibility for the same
- Demonstrated experience conducting speech and language evaluations as part of IEP teams
- Background in supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), particularly for the part-time role
- Familiarity with school-based therapy, Medicaid-reimbursable services, and compliance documentation
What You'll Do:
- Complete speech and language assessments and contribute to IEP team discussions
- Supervise up to 2.0 FTE SLPAs (part-time role), providing guidance in best practices
- Conduct 30-day reviews for paraeducators involved in Medicaid-reimbursable programming
- Deliver direct speech-language services within the authorized work schedule
- Actively collaborate with staff, families, and students’ educational teams
- Ensure all services are provided on-site at public schools in Claremont, New Hampshire
Additional Details:
- One full-time (2026–2027 school year) and one part-time (up to 20 hours/month) contract available
- IRS mileage reimbursement for approved travel to and from Claremont for all services performed
