Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active Louisiana Math Educator Certificate permitting instruction at the high school level
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Math, particularly Algebra I, within grades 9–12 preferred
- Proven classroom management and lesson-planning abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with students and collaborate with colleagues
- Commitment to cultivating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Algebra I instruction to high school students onsite
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to individual needs
- Foster a constructive, positive classroom culture that supports academic and social growth
- Collaborate with other faculty to enhance student success and participate in development activities
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and assessments in accordance with school policies
- Participate in relevant school meetings, training, and professional development sessions
