Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active Louisiana Math Educator Certificate permitting instruction at the high school level
• Demonstrated experience in teaching Math, particularly Algebra I, within grades 9–12 preferred
• Proven classroom management and lesson-planning abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with students and collaborate with colleagues
• Commitment to cultivating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Algebra I instruction to high school students onsite
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to individual needs
• Foster a constructive, positive classroom culture that supports academic and social growth
• Collaborate with other faculty to enhance student success and participate in development activities
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and assessments in accordance with school policies
• Participate in relevant school meetings, training, and professional development sessions
