School Occupational Therapist | Nashua, New Hampshire

Step into an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the 2026-27 school year as an Occupational Therapist working with both elementary and high school students. This contract position spans from September 1 through June 15, offering a rewarding chance to support student development over the academic year. With a manageable caseload of approximately 25 students, you will spend three days each week at an elementary campus and two days at a high school, totaling 31 hours per week.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid OT licensure and credentials for school-based practice
• Demonstrated experience working as an Occupational Therapist in educational settings
• Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse needs
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities to partner with teachers, support staff, and families
• Proven track record with both elementary and secondary students
• Confidence managing a rotating caseload across varied age groups
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to help students achieve educational goals
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
• Create individualized treatment plans that address student needs in motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Maintain clear communication with school staff and families regarding student progress
• Adapt programming as needed across elementary and high school settings
