Warehouse Laborer

The Warehouse Laborer plays a vital role in supporting warehouse operations by handling the loading and unloading of materials, operating forklifts, and managing the deconstruction and processing of used mattresses and box springs. This position works within a small team environment, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and Team Lead or Supervisor, with the possibility of occasional travel to other sites. The role offers opportunities for skill development through rotation across warehouse functions and potential advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials efficiently and safely
• Operate forklift machinery to move inventory
• Deconstruct used mattresses and box springs for material separation
• Separate and bale materials for recycling or disposal
• Provide customer service support as needed
• Assist with possible sales activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level; any experience in warehouse operations is a plus
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Ability to drive a company-provided pickup truck with a trailer is a plus

Starting Pay

$18/hr to start - role requires training.
