Paralegal - Legal Analyst

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Paralegal - Legal Analyst opportunity with an established well known credit union. The Paralegal - Legal Analyst is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Organizing contracts in the system, ensuring start and end dates are properly captured and getting contracts off paper and into Ironclad
• Reviews contractual agreements for internal compliance, ensure information is accurate prior to execution
• Assists legal department (including Vendor Management Analyst) with contract tracking and execution.
• Obtains and tracks compliant certificates of insurance (COIs) from vendors (including reviewing and understanding the insurance language found in contracts and determining how to translate that information to insurance coverage being evidenced on insurance certificates).
• Assists legal department with ongoing vendor due diligence (including documenting Complimentary User Entity Controls and tracking information security documentation).
• Provides support to the Legal Operations Manager, including by (i) assisting with pre-litigation, litigation, and arbitration matters; (ii) processing subpoena requests (including gathering requested data, documents, and records, tracking response deadlines, preparing declarations, processing billings, and tracking receipt of payments); (iii) conducting investigations and fact-finding for legal matters; (iv) monitor and manage discovery requests and gather data and documents in response to discovery requests.

Required qualifications for the position include :

• Paralegal Certificate is required
• A minimum of three years of experience working as a paralegal is required
• Experience with contract negotiation and processing
• Experience managing contracts to completion, analyzing and understanding contract terms, and negotiating and completing lower level contract reviews.

Preferred qualifications for the position include :

• Working in a law firm and/or in-house counsel with experience in the financial services industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Ironclad experience highly preferred

Pay Rate Range : $32.00- $42.00 an hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
