Sheet Metal/Crating Team Member

Type: Temp to hire

Shift: Monday thru Friday - 6:30am to 3:00pm (occasional mandatory overtime on Saturdays)

Pay Rate: $19 to $21 per hour

Requirements: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Drug Test / Authorized to work n the United States

Our client is a premier designer/manufacturer of customized process water chillers for medical and laboratory applications.

Job Description:

• Cutting, fitting and insulating sheet metal body panels for units
• Cleaning, labeling, and preparing units for shipment
• Assembling crates and boxing units to be shipped

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read a ruler
• Knowledge of how to use hand tools - tin snips, screw drivers, hammers, etc.
• Comfortable using power tools; saws, grinders, drivers, drills, etc.
• Able to lift 50-70 lbs
• Communicate issues in a timely manner
• Have excellent follow-through and follow-up skills

• Good mechanical skills
• Good interpersonal, organizational & listening skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to write and speak effectively with employees throughout the organization

• A sense of humor
