We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with PMP certification to join our team primarily responsible for our external Defense projects with some additional internal product development projects. This role will lead, coordinate and communicate the schedule, timeline, resource allocation and budget for defense products on a project basis. Serve as a point of contact for our clients and stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to ensure project alignment and transparency.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and change requests.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Competencies / Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Toms Planner, Monday.com).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with defense contracting and funding requirements.
  • Working knowledge of USML (ITAR) and CCL (EAR) requirements/controls.
  • Functional knowledge of the application of FARS and DFARS in government contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Current PMP certification is required.
  • Ideally, a bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field.
