About the Role:
Midwest Mold Removal LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Lead Water Restoration Technician to join our growing team in Imperial, MO and become a vital force in restoring properties and lives affected by water ,fire, mold and other environmental damages. Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise water damage restoration projects from initial assessment through completion
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment
- Set up and monitor dehumidifiers, air movers, and drying systems to ensure proper drying protocols
- Conduct mold inspections and cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation to restore properties to pre-loss condition
- Document job progress, moisture readings, and equipment placement for accurate reporting
- Communicate professionally with property owners, adjusters, and project managers throughout the restoration process
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for cleaning, demolition, mold remediation and construction tasks
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in water damage restoration; fire restoration and mold remediation, air duct cleaning, and biohazard cleanup or a related field
- IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew on active job sites
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate various restoration equipment safely
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and emergency response shifts
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and customer-first attitude
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods
