Shifts: 3PM-11:30PM

Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of Janitor/cleaners and be able to coach on performance.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Handle chemical agents safely in accordance with chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation protocols
  • Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment following safe lifting practices
  • Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and proper floor care techniques to ensure durability and appearance
  • Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly
  • Follow safety protocol adherence at all times to ensure a secure working environment for self and others


What will you need as a Supervisor?

  • Prior Supervisor experience
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, custodial equipment operation, and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents
  • Experience with floor care including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
  • Customer service skills beneficial for interacting professionally with building occupants or clients
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous
