Skilled Technician

We are looking for a Skilled Technician to join our small team of 3-5 technicians. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motor vehicles including automobiles, trucks, and ambulances. The ideal candidate will have expertise in vehicle transmission systems and a strong mechanical aptitude to ensure quality and timely service without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

• Repair automobiles, trucks, ambulances, and other motor vehicles
• Specialize in vehicle transmission systems
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning vehicles to customers

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience
• Valid driver's license
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
• Ford training
• Expertise in vehicle diagnostics
• Attention to detail in quality inspections
