Dozer Operator

(Baton Rouge, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a highly skilled Dozer Operator with strong experience in fine grading, finishing, and GPS-assisted operations. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate grade on job sites.

Essential Duties:

• Operate a dozer to perform fine grading and finishing work with high precision

• Maintain and hold grade according to project specifications

• Interpret and follow grade stakes, site plans, and project requirements

• Utilize GPS systems on equipment to ensure accurate grading and efficiency

• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance

• Work closely with site supervisors to ensure quality and productivity standards are met

Requirements/Skills:

• Extensive experience operating a dozer, specifically in fine grading and finishing

• Proven ability to hold grade and perform detailed grading work

• Experience reading and utilizing GPS systems on heavy equipment

• Strong understanding of site plans, elevations, and grading techniques

• Ability to work independently and maintain high performance standards

• Basic Plus certification required

• Must be able to complete site-specific requirements for access to the job site

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating heavy equipment

• Capable of climbing in and out of machinery safely

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
