Three-Year-Old Preschool Teacher

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to lead our three-year-old classroom. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves the curiosity, imagination, big personalities, and growing independence that make three-year-olds so much fun!
Our ideal teacher understands that at three, every day is an adventure. Whether you’re reading a favorite story, creating an art project, helping children learn to share, celebrating a successful potty trip, or answering the tenth “Why?” of the morning, you’ll play an important role in helping our children feel safe, loved, confident, and excited to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Create a warm, nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment where three-year-olds can thrive.
- Plan fun, age-appropriate learning experiences through play, art, music, movement, stories, sensory activities, and hands-on exploration.
- Support early learning skills such as language development, counting, colors, shapes, fine motor skills, and beginning problem-solving.
- Help children develop important social-emotional skills, including sharing, taking turns, expressing feelings, making friends, and resolving conflicts.
- Encourage growing independence with routines such as handwashing, cleaning up, dressing, mealtimes, and toileting.
- Provide patient and positive guidance while establishing consistent classroom expectations and routines.
- Observe and celebrate each child’s individual growth and developmental milestones.
- Build caring, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate with families about their child’s day, accomplishments, needs, and development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and safe classroom.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive school community.
- Follow all health, safety, licensing, and school policies and procedures.
