Quality Inspector

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly talented Quality Inspector to join our team. Responsible for processing quality concerns at customer sites. You will be assigned a company vehicle and will be given a daily route of accounts with product concerns.

Essential Functions:

Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Measure and document inspections.

Processing Quality concerned product according to the operating procedures

Drive a company vehicle

Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

Document and report Quality concerns timely

Handle, stage, and label Quality concerned product.

Standing for prolonged hours.

Lifting or moving containers that are, approximately, 75 pounds.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Relevant experience in inspection and production processes
• Direct experience with quality functions and/or quality related responsibilities
• Must possess good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates the ability to work with others efficiently and effectively either one-on-one, as a team or in a group
• Must possess a positive attitude with self-motivation
• Must be able to communicate effectively with verbal and written skills
• Computer skills are a plus

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
• 6-months of previous quality experience. Experience working in a quality management system (QMS) environment a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working with chemicals, or in a laboratory environment.
