Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team , working closely with physicians and office management. This role involves daily patient interaction and providing essential clinical support within a busy healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid background in patient care procedures including vital signs measurement, specimen collection, and injection administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and record vital signs
• Provide clinical support during patient examinations and procedures
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy
• Collect specimens for laboratory analysis
• Manage prior authorizations to facilitate patient care
• Accurately document patient information using EHR software
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in medical assisting

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Assisting or related field
• Experience managing prior authorizations

This position would also require travel to our Delray Beach location a few days per week.
