The North Star Academy is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to teach and support 4-year old preschool students. Positions are available immediately and will run through June with additional opportunities available during the summer months. Applicants must be able to pass a health check, criminal background check, and child abuse screening.


The North Star Academy Teacher's Aides must be high-spirited, motivated, fun, and have an interest in building a rewarding career with the potential for advancement. Teacher's Aides are responsible for managing up to 10 students as they transition through their daily activities including reading, crafts, and physical activities. Teacher's Aides assist in teaching from an engaging classroom curriculum and participate in year-round training in youth development.


Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; have a high school diploma or GED with a bachelor’s degree preferred; must be committed and able to demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in working with youth.


Full-time positions are available Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
