Job Description
Hydra Fire Protection, LLC is hiring leaders in the fire protection industry who are ready to grow with us as we launch our fire sprinkler services in the DFW area! We are seeking candidates who have integrity, great communication skills, and the ability to help manage a rapidly growing division.

We are looking for the right talented fire sprinkler repair technician to assist us in conducting mandatory NFPA 25 inspections and repairs for our existing customer base.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial buildings.
- Perform routine and emergency service calls for system troubleshooting and repairs.
- Assist in conducting regular inspections and testing of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Document all service activities, including inspections, testing, and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to schedule and perform work efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
- Respond to emergency service requests promptly and professionally. This will be on a limited basis.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in fire protection systems preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a fire sprinkler technician.
- Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, as well as local building codes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems and/or Water-Based Systems Layout is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to push and pull items greater than 50 pounds, as needed.
- Ability to safely use and climb a ladder and reach a height of at least 24 feet.
- Ability to work comfortably on a regular basis, at a height greater than 26 feet.
- Constant walking, standing, carrying/handling objects, climbing ladders and eye/hand/foot coordination.
