The Opportunity

Bacon Home Remodeling is a growing Western New York remodeling company specializing in bathrooms and decks/porches.

We are building the next stage of our company and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take ownership of our sales department.

This is not simply a senior salesperson position.

We are looking for a leader who can recruit, train, coach, manage, and hold a sales team accountable while creating a repeatable sales process that converts qualified leads into profitable revenue.

Our company is investing heavily in marketing and building an internal call center to consistently generate and qualify sales opportunities. We need a Sales Manager who can take those opportunities and build a high-performing sales organization around them.

What You Will Own

  • Lead, coach, train, and hold the sales team accountable
  • Recruit and onboard salespeople as the company grows
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, one-on-one coaching, and performance reviews
  • Monitor sales KPIs including NSLI, close rate, average ticket, cancellations, and net sales
  • Review individual salesperson performance and develop improvement plans
  • Conduct ride-alongs and field coaching
  • Review sales presentations and help improve closing techniques
  • Maintain strong CRM and pipeline discipline
  • Ensure leads are properly followed up and opportunities are not lost
  • Develop and enforce a consistent in-home sales process
  • Work closely with Marketing, the Call Center, and Production
  • Forecast sales and identify performance issues before they become problems
  • Maintain pricing and discounting discipline
  • Build a competitive, accountable, high-performance sales culture
  • Run sales appointments when coverage is needed
  • Other duties as necessary or required

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who has already demonstrated the ability to lead salespeople and drive measurable results.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven sales management experience
  • Experience managing a commission-based sales team
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Experience using KPIs and sales data to manage performance
  • A track record of improving close rates and sales productivity
  • Strong recruiting and interviewing ability
  • Excellent communication and accountability skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
  • The ability to coach both high performers and struggling salespeople
  • A competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • The ability to make decisions and hold people accountable
  • Strong organizational and forecasting skills

Home improvement, remodeling, roofing, windows, baths, HVAC, solar, or other in-home sales management experience is strongly preferred.
