Sandblaster

Our client in Riverdale, Illinois, is looking for a skilled Sandblaster to start asap! Our client is a leader in manufacturing and remanufacturing large AC and DC electric motors for industrial and transit applications.

Job Requirements Include:

• Must have 1+ years of recent industrial sandblasting experience.

• Must submit to and pass a drug screen.

• Davis Staffing, Inc. participates in the E-verify program.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, strip, and prepare metal surfaces for repair, coating, and painting.

• Remove rust, corrosion, paint, grease, and other contaminants from electric motors, pumps, and industrial components.

• Prepare equipment and parts for rebuilding, painting, and final assembly processes.

• Inspect surfaces to ensure proper cleaning and quality standards are met before coating or repair.

• General Labor; Stacking armature laminations, getting rid of any scrap/trash, other warehouse/general labor duties as needed

• Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE as required

• Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as required

Job Details Include:

• Temporary.

• 7:00AM – 3:30PM, Monday to Friday with OT as needed on the weekend.

• $18.00 per hour
