Sanitation Supervisor

We are looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee 14 night sanitation workers in both our Packaging and Processing facilities.

General Responsibilities

1. Cleaning Supervision

a. Supervise all employees while cleaning, maintaining, and preparing equipment and facilities for food production.

b. Maintain employee absentee records, approve timesheets.

c. Ensure the crew is working the correct amount of hours for the work that needs to be done. Properly staff the shift, assigning days off as needed.

d. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and is in a sanitary condition at the end of each shift.

e.Inspect and clean as needed any and all areas that the sanitation department is responsible to clean.

2. Validate Cleaning

a. Be able to validate the cleaning process.

ii. ATC Swabs

iii. Finished Product Results

3. Supplies and Equipment

a. Work with suppliers to order all chemicals and janitorial supplies. Keep all supplies in stock.

b. Ensure the company is purchasing the most economical and quality cleaning and food safety products on the market.

c. Test and research any new equipment, chemicals, or supplies.

4. Chemical Effectiveness and Proper Use

a. Ensure the proper chemicals are being used in the correct manner.

b. Ensure chemicals are not being wasted or used at an ineffective rate.

c. Test chemical dispensers at least weekly to ensure proper dispensing rates.

d. Make sure sanitizers are effective and being applied properly.

5. Safety

a. Ensure all employees are following company safety standards and policies. Train and re-train employees as needed.

b. Ensure equipment and chemicals are used safely and maintained in a safe condition.

Work Hours: 8:00pm-5:30am

Must have previous sanitation experience, must be able to work with Spanish Speaking staff, must be able to effectively communicate with production team, sanitation team and management.

Pay based on experience
