The Automotive Technician/Automotive Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role blends independent tasks with team collaboration, involving the use of standard automotive diagnostic tools and shop management software to provide accurate estimates, repair orders, and excellent customer communication. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and maintenance including brakes, engine work, and transmission repairs
• Conduct oil changes, alignments, and tire rotations
• Prepare repair orders and estimates using shop management software
• Assist and communicate with customers in person and by phone
• Use diagnostic tools and a combination of software and manual tools to identify vehicle issues
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Ensure completion of repairs in a timely and efficient manner

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in automotive repair
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency with automotive repair and diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with shop management software
