Baker - Billy's Marketplace

Billy’s Marketplace is looking for a reliable and motivated Baker to join our team.

This position does not require extensive professional baking experience. Our bakery primarily works with par-baked and ready-to-bake breads, rolls, pastries, and other supermarket bakery items. We are looking for someone with some bakery, kitchen, or food-service experience who is comfortable learning our procedures and maintaining consistent quality.

Responsibilities:

%CF; Bake and finish par-baked breads, rolls, pastries, and other bakery products

%CF; Follow proper baking times, temperatures, and preparation instructions

%CF; Prepare products for the sales floor and keep displays stocked and fresh

%CF; Package and label bakery products as needed

%CF; Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bakery work area

%CF; Follow food-safety and store procedures

%CF; Monitor product quality and freshness

Qualifications:

%CF; Some previous bakery, kitchen, supermarket, or food-service experience preferred

%CF; Professional baker or pastry-chef experience is not required

%CF; Reliable and punctual

%CF; Able to work independently and stay organized

%CF; Comfortable working with commercial ovens and bakery equipment

%CF; Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal lifting associated with bakery work

%CF; Availability for early-morning and weekend shifts as needed
