Tractor Trailer Mechanic

The Tractor Trailer Mechanic will work within a small team to ensure the optimal performance and safety of heavy vehicles. This role focuses on routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and installation of new equipment, using a combination of traditional tools and modern diagnostic technologies. The mechanic will be responsible for maintaining brake systems, electrical components, and structural integrity through welding fabrication, all while adhering to rigorous safety standards on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake maintenance and repairs
• Conduct electrical system repairs and troubleshooting
• Execute preventive maintenance on heavy vehicles
• Carry out detailed safety inspections
• Apply welding fabrication techniques for vehicle repairs
• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly
• Install new equipment as required
