LOOKING FOR: Dental Front Desk
Our practice is seeking an experienced, organized, and personable Dental Front Desk to join our team. We are a well-established family dental practice that has proudly served our community for over 40 years. Our office provides both PPO and fee-for-service care in a friendly, patient-focused environment.
The ideal candidate is confident managing front-office operations, understands dental insurance and treatment coordination, and is willing to assist clinically when needed—for example, if the office is running behind or another team member needs support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-office operations and patient flow
- Welcome patients and provide excellent customer service
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and maintain a productive schedule
- Confirm appointments and follow up with patients
- Verify PPO insurance benefits and eligibility
- Prepare and present treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Collect payments, post payments, and manage patient accounts
- Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
- Review aging reports and assist with collections
- Maintain accurate patient information in Dentrix
- Coordinate communication between patients, doctors, hygienists, and assistants
- Help establish and maintain efficient office systems
- Assist clinically when necessary to help maintain patient flow
Qualifications
- Dental front desk experience required
- Proficiency with Dentrix strongly preferred
- Knowledge of PPO insurance, claims, billing, and accounts receivable
- Experience with fee-for-service patient communication is a plus
- Strong treatment presentation and scheduling skills
- Dental assisting experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Professional, dependable, organized, and team-oriented
Schedule: 9am-5pm - Mon,Tues,Wed,Fri & 1 Saturday a month (8-1pm)
Compensation: Based on experience/performance
