Role: Manufacturing Operations Specialist IV

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6–8 Months Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM


Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Specialist IV to support medical device manufacturing operations, including production execution, work order management, inventory coordination, and operational improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily manufacturing execution and production activities.
  • Create, track, and close work orders using MES and SAP/ERP systems.
  • Support production planning, material readiness, and inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.
  • Maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and production metrics.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing system issues and production delays.
  • Support continuous improvement and process standardization.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, GMP, and GDP requirements.


Required Skills

  • 5+ years of manufacturing operations / production control experience.
  • Experience with MES, SAP/ERP, inventory management, and Excel/Power BI.
  • Medical device, pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of work orders, material flow, production control, and manufacturing execution.


Preferred

  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience as an SME, trainer, or manufacturing operations lead.
