Sales Associate and Customer Service
Job Description
Your primary responsibility is to drive sales while creating a friendly, helpful, and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer.
You will:
- Engage with customers and help them select the right lumber, tools, finishes, and materials for their projects.
- Ask questions, understand customer needs, and recommend products that help them complete their projects successfully.
- Build product knowledge so you can confidently explain options and make recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Answer phones and assist customers with product availability, pricing, and general questions.
- Keep merchandise displays clean, organized, stocked, and looking their best.
- Help maintain a clean and organized showroom and sales counter.
- Assist with inventory counts and product organization.
- Encourage customers to join and participate in our loyalty program.
- Assist with basic milling and cutting services as needed.
- Support daily store operations and complete additional tasks assigned by management.
