Role description: The service technician is a full-time, on-site and a off-site employee consisting of traveling to a customer work site and offshore based in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for performing hydraulic flushing and pressure testing with propriative equipment. Daily tasks include performing particles counting on the fluid for the customer. Service techs create field service reports, documenting work performed, and coordination with other team members to resolve technical problems. The Service technician may interact directly with customers, explain service findings, equipment operation, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The role also involves following safety protocols, driving forklift and handling pressurized equipment, using diagnostic tools, and supporting continuous improvement in service processes.
QUALIFICATIONS: Maintenance & repair skills, with the ability to perform routine and corrective work on energy-related equipment. Technician with learn to do trouble shooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical and system issues efficiently. Also, to develop customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients, explain technical information in accessible terms, and build professional relationships. Technicians will get basic electrical and mechanical systems knowledge. Must be able to read work orders. We have a commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance in industrial and commercial environments. Eventually a technician will develop an ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple service tasks. High School diploma or equivalent, technical certification or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in the common language, English
Must be able to pass a background test and get a T.W.I.C. card
Must have a valid TX driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.
Must be able to qualify as a I-9 employee.
Must be able to get a passport
Must be able to pass a “fit for work”
Helpful is living within 50 miles, must be dependable
Must be able to work under direct supervision of others
Must be available on evening ,weekends and holidays should work require on short notice
