Position Summary
The Executive Assistant is a full-time position that supports the health center’s executive management team with calendar management, provider credentialing, meeting preparation, Board support and project management. The Executive Assistant partners closely with the CEO, executive management team and Board of Directors to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance and organizational effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position is $33.00 - $34.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for the following benefits:

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and C-suite, including scheduling, communications, and special projects.
  • Oversee provider credentialing and privileging and serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with licensure, certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a primary liaison to the Board of Directors, preparing materials and maintaining records.
  • Support organizational compliance.
  • Oversee provider onboarding.
  • Improve administrative systems, workflows, and policies to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage Medi-Cal enrollment activities for health center sites.
  • Maintain the organizational chart and reporting structures.
  • Lead cross-functional administrative initiatives and planning efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field and/or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit health center or community health setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with provider credentialing and privileging, Board administration, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of nonprofit health center operations, HRSA requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with credentialing systems, Medi-Cal enrollment, and payer processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.
  • Executive presence and sound judgment in balancing frontline and leadership priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities independently.
