- Gather and organize client documents
- Review prior-year returns
- Compare current-year information to prior year
- Identify missing information
- Reconcile tax documents to the return
- Follow up with clients when necessary
- Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and/or small businesses
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local income tax regulations
- Research tax issues and identify potential tax-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with Staff Accountants and Partners to ensure deadlines are met
