Account Executive — AV & Collaboration Technologies

The role We're hiring our next Account Executive to own new-business growth across the Boston market. You'll hunt, build relationships, run discovery, and close AV and collaboration projects — from a single Zoom Room to a multi-room campus rollout, plus the managed-service contracts that keep them running. You won't do it alone: our design and engineering team scopes the technical side so you can focus on the client and the close.
What you'll do
- Prospect and open doors with mid-sized organizations running on outdated collaboration tech
- Run consultative discovery — understand the client's outcome before pitching the gear
- Partner with our design team to build proposals and present them so a non-technical decision-maker gets it in 60 seconds
- Sell the whole relationship: design, installation, service, and recurring managed-AV support
- Nurture referral channels — AV consultants, general contractors, and manufacturer reps
- Keep a clean pipeline and forecast honestly
What you bring
- 3+ years in B2B solution sales — AV, UC, IT/VAR, telecom, or commercial construction tech a big plus
- A hunter's instinct paired with the patience for a longer, relationship-driven sale
- Enough technical curiosity to speak credibly about rooms, video, audio, and networks (we'll teach the rest)
- Comfort in a small, fast company where you wear several hats and your wins are visible
- Boston-area based; valid driver's license for client site visits
