Syntera Biotech is a growing biotechnology manufacturing company. As our production operations continue to expand, we are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Associate to support incoming inventory, raw materials, supplies, and day-to-day warehouse organization.

This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in making sure materials are received accurately, properly documented, organized, and available when our production team needs them.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming deliveries, packages, raw materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verify received items against purchase orders, packing slips, and expected quantities.
  • Inspect shipments for visible damage, shortages, incorrect items, or other discrepancies.
  • Accurately record received materials in the company inventory system.
  • Label and organize incoming inventory in the proper warehouse or quarantine location.
  • Ensure raw materials requiring testing or approval are kept in the appropriate quarantine area until released.
  • Maintain accurate lot numbers, quantities, product information, and receiving documentation.
  • Notify management of damaged shipments, incorrect quantities, missing materials, or other receiving issues.
  • Organize warehouse shelving and storage areas so materials can be located quickly.
  • Move inventory to the appropriate departments or storage locations.
  • Assist with inventory counts and help investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and receiving area.
  • Break down boxes, dispose of packaging materials, and keep receiving areas clear.
  • Help unload and move incoming shipments as needed.
  • Work closely with purchasing, production, quality, and other team members.
  • Follow company procedures for handling and documenting materials.
  • Perform other warehouse and operations duties as needed.

  • Warehouse, receiving, shipping, inventory, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with inventory or ERP systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This is an active warehouse position. The employee will regularly be standing, walking, bending, organizing inventory, moving boxes, and handling incoming shipments throughout the workday.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
