Maintenance Manager

This position is responsible for providing the maintenance needs for the day-to-day and long-term operations needed to maintain the common ground areas and the total infrastructure of the English Turn community. This position supervises the operations of the grounds/maintenance section and personally makes repairs of equipment when possible. Also recommends to the Executive Director equipment needing to be purchased/leased to be able to accomplish the community’s maintenance needs. Also responsible for maintaining on-hand parts, tools, and materials needed to enable the maintenance team to be able to respond quickly and effectively to solve problems in the community. Responsible for all aspects of the ET POA maintenance yard.

The English Turn Property Owners' Association (ET POA) is the association for a gated community on the Westbank of New Orleans. The community is over 35 years-old. It is well-established with an excellent reputation. The Association manages the property and provides customer service to the residents of the community. The grounds contain over six miles of streets, multiple lagoons, common areas, three guardhouses, and the POA building. The POA is a separate entity from the English Turn Golf & Country Club, which has its own maintenance and groundskeeping staff.
