Electrical Panel Builder

Full-Time | Manufacturing & Automation
Shift: 1st Shift – Contract to Hire
Pay: $33.00–$38.00/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels using electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Install wiring, sensors, motors, cables, and electrical components on custom automated machinery.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring of control panels and field devices.
  • Mount and wire PLCs, HMIs, relays, circuit breakers, power supplies, and variable frequency drives.
  • Support machine startup, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging with engineering and assembly teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during machine builds.
  • Ensure all wiring and installations meet quality standards, safety requirements, and electrical codes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide feedback to engineering to improve designs and documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of industrial electrician or electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing or automation environment.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience wiring control panels and automated machinery.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial electrical components.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
