Monday-Friday / 8:00am-5:00pm


Job Summary:

Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical, electrical, or electronic components and finished products.


Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Perform quality checks and tests on assembled products to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions during the assembly process, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including any modifications or issues encountered.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • Past work experience in functional testing and certifying equipment to standards.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memo. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rated, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, kneel, sit, crouch, feel, reach, climb, balance and stoop.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • The vision requirements include close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
