LITIGATION ATTORNEY
LOCATION:Solon, Ohio | Hybrid
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $65,000–$130,000 annually
• Full-time
• Business-casual work environment
ROLE IMPACT
Join a growing national law firm supporting a high-volume creditor’s rights and financial services litigation practice. This role manages litigation matters from drafting through court appearances, provides practical legal guidance, and helps clients minimize risk while meeting case and performance goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Represent clients in litigation hearings throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, with travel to court as required.
• Manage a substantial caseload, competing priorities, deadlines, and monthly performance goals.
• Draft motions, briefs, discovery responses, appellate briefs, and other legal documents.
• Provide practical legal guidance while identifying and minimizing legal risk and liability.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, business partners, and internal team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active Ohio bar admission.
• 1–5 years of litigation experience, preferably involving real estate, foreclosure, creditor’s rights, collections, or related financial services matters.
• U.S. District Court admission in applicable jurisdictions, or ability to obtain admission; willingness to travel to court and reliable transportation required.

• Litigation case management and legal document systems
• Electronic court filing and docket management systems
• Legal research platforms
• Microsoft Office or comparable business productivity tools
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Kentucky, West Virginia, and/or Indiana bar admission, or ability to immediately waive into those states.
• Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and secured creditor bankruptcy matters.
• Strong legal and business judgment, communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
